With every free giveaway imaginable at the 2022 Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in Minneapolis, boatBurner teamed up with a soap company in Illinois to create the first-ever hop soap for Roy Farms to distribute inside 800 hotel rooms at the Minneapolis Hilton hotel. We don’t want to say this was the best-smelling CBC crowd (no data to support this claim), however, we got attendees to take notice of Roy Farms, the one of the largest hop farms in North America, before they ever stepped foot inside the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The bars of hop soap featured Roy Farms-grown Strata and Azacca hops, were placed on the vanity and in the shower of each room at the Minneapolis Hilton hotel. In addition, we passed out over 2000 bars of hop soap at our experiential hop field on the convention plaza as people walked in and out of the CBC. The overwhelmingly positive reaction at the CBC made this unique idea well worth the time it took to get the aroma and soap details just right.
