Grizzly
Joe Tessa, a commercial fisherman, found himself in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico in a Category 5 hurricane after the fishing vessel he captained became disabled with everything he owned onboard. As he struggled to get back to shore, the hurricane intensified. The storm sank the boat. The life raft failed. Joe was alone, in the water, in 25-foot waves and 150 mph winds. All hope was lost. Until something hit Joe in the back of the head...
On October 9, Joe rode out Hurricane Milton for 17 hours. In a Grizzly cooler. Many have seen the miraculous Coast Guard rescue footage, but no one has heard the full story from Joe. Until now. boatBurner and Grizzly coolers worked together to get the story and tell his amazing survival.
